The Fadeaway

Founder and creative director of a Toronto basketball platform spanning identity, uniforms and event storytelling.

Event Identity & Creative Direction

The player is the story.

Editorial portraits give each player a distinct presence. The consistent framing brings the group together while leaving room for individual character, shifting the presentation of the tournament beyond the action on court.

A collective identity.

Collegiate lettering, outlined numbers and a shared crest connect the uniform range. Burgundy, black, blue and green distinguish the teams while the underlying design keeps them part of the same event.

From the court to the city.

The campaign gives the event a recognisable graphic presence. Bold typography and basketball imagery translate the tournament’s energy into a poster format designed to work beyond the venue.
